Re Godin's final comment that tree farmers will have to find a new use
for newsprint makes me realize that gardeners will have to find a
substitute for newspapers for mulch. I find newspapers indispensable
for mulching under bark paths and for keeping grass out of the mulch
around tress in a lawn. A shortage of newsprint would be a real
hardship! :-)
