 The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension is, knock on wood, still in good shape. But this is because it doesn't rely solely on money though the UMass C.E. - half of the funding comes from Barnstable County.  Because of this, we've retained the Master Gardener program here where most MA extensions have had to cut MG's out.

Every year is a different year, however, and money gets tighter for the County as well.  Time will tell.
