Saxton and all,

I (and I'm sure other GWA Regional Directors on the listserve) have been following with great interest the discussion about the GWA awards. What a marvelous sharing of ideas! Judy has been wonderful to respond so thoughtfully to all questions and suggestions. I'm sure she will convey them to the board.

Saxton suggested contacting your Regional Directors to help enact change. We love hearing from members and can make suggestions to the board. However, regional directors have no voting power. So, if you'd like to lobby for changes, also contact the National Director from your region, who does have a vote on the GWA board. If you don't know who that is, you can find out on the GWA website.

Don't hesitate to offer your input to any of the GWA elected representatives, committee members or staff. It's the best way to keep GWA relevant and help the organization serve its' members.
