Re: Garden Thugs - garlic mustard
Hi Betty,
We took the advice of our local land steward from The Nature Conservancy
and started weedwhacking garlic mustard in our woods. This must be done
EARLY, before it flowers. It's a slow process, but over time, we've won,
in the sense that we no longer have acres of mustard. There's no keeping
out the seed from other properties, so it is an ongoing process, but it
works. In the gardened area, we hand pull.
Regards,
Lois
