Re: Memorial for Jeff Ball?

You are such a great person to carry on Jeff's legacy. He was so passionate - and probably way ahead of his time - about yardening.  Most purest balked at the idea that mowing the grass or planting a container was gardening. But not Jeff. He just made up a new word for it. I always said it would one day be a verb. Together one day we can make it the Oxford Dictionary's Word of the Year.

Funny, I was just talking about him last week to someone.  I can still hear him laughing.

Happy New Year Guys. A bit about the Yardener.
Jeff Ball's website, Yardener.com, is alive and well.
His web master and business partner, John Davis from California,  son  
Ed (Ted ) Ball and I had a weekend retreat with him here at   
Birchwood, my home,
when he first started in hospice. He told us of his plans for the future and handed the three of the us the reins. I am taking over as content manager. We are looking forward to an exciting year.
