Re: Memorial for Jeff Ball
GWA members owe a big debt of gratitude to the 2 bad boys in the back of the bus. They pushed and pulled us into the digital world, never relenting on its importance to us as professional communicators. Long before the majority of members saw the benefit of computers and e-mail (back in the '90s, folks; not the Dark Ages, as it sounds), they made sure that every symposium included something educational on the latest tech advancement. They experienced a lot of griping and, I'm sure, a fair amount of derision, but it made a huge difference. And they always had a lot of fun while doing it.

P.S.
A memorial of some kind to Jeff B would be very fitting. Let me know if there's any way I can help, Jeff L.

P. S. I attended a GWA symposium in Washington, DC in1992 and was warned to
stay away from the bad boys in the back of the bus -- the two Jeffs.
