Re: Contract Question

Hi folks. I have a question I hope one (or more) of you can answer.

Situation: Book has been out of print for 10 years. Publisher wants to
reissue as electronic book and possibly as "Electronic Multimedia Version"
(whatever that is).

Royalty offered: 10% of net receipts.

Is this reasonable? Or should we look for a attorney in the DC area who
represents authors to bump this percentage up a bit? (Original agent has
now died and business closed.) If so, what is reasonable?

Thanks!

Lina Burton
