Northwest gardens

For those of you staying after the symposium, I would strongly suggest you
get a copy of Stephanie Feeney's Gardeners on the Go: Seattle.  It details
whole days of visits, with stops at gardens, nurseries, bookstores, and ‹
always important on a garden day out ‹ good places for lunch.  Each chapter
is a days' journey, made longer or shorter by choosing more or fewer
options.

Stephanie completed Gardeners on the Go: Seattle, and had started to work on
Gardeners on the Go:  London.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer, and did
not survive to see the end of the next book.  We miss her terribly.  Her
landmark regional book, The Northwest Gardeners' Resource Directory, was
sold to Sasquatch Books before her death, and a new edition is out edited by
Debra Prinzing.  I believe Debra is speaking at the symposium
