I cover several western states in the selling of sod and grass seed. This seems a bit high. In so cal the average sod order is about 1200 sq ft. Here in ut it is about 8-10000 sq ft. In Idaho it is about 7000 sq ft. I know lawn areas are larger though as you go east because of "free" water. Doug Washburn Agronotec Seed Co./Quality turf
