Re: Correct plant names


Hello Mary,
    When I was a lad my father used a long pole to knock worms from the
trees in our front yard. It was my job to pick them up and place then in a
bucket with a lid having holes punches in the top. He then used them as bait
when fishing. Tree was the Catalpa, or Indian Bean. Father refereed to the
big green worms as catalpa worms. Any chance this could be your "leaf worm"?
