Re: The American Gardener - Gentiana
Goodness! That is certainly of interest to me. There can not be that
much difference between PA and here in Southern Indiana climate-wise. I have
never had any of the problems you mention in growing gentiana. I have
certainly killed a few species, but have not had any disease problems. *All*
of the species you tried died from disease?? Including the species native to
the eastern US? What disease was most prevalent?
Perhaps I need to know of your experiences so I can watch my plants more
closely. Also answer any questions that may arise in the future from
readers.
