This is why I am surprised at the bog box stores selling them. The market they are selling to are not generally the ones who get landscape people in every month to sort the shrubs out. Next yr they are going to have shaggy looking poodle-cuts and no idea when or how to prune then - spring, summer, never.
It would seem to open up a whole new area to address in publication. Katy
