Hi, Melody -
Congrats on joining the 'digital revolution.' I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Some cameras offer a choice of media, but Olympus' specs on this camera
calls for:
"3V (3.3V) xD-Picture Card (16, 32, 64, 128, 256 or 512MB)
16MB xD-Picture Card included"
I would recommend you buy the largest xD-Picture card you can afford. If you
are like me, shooting away without worrying about storage card space is part
of the fun.
You might also consider buying a high speed card reader with either a
Firewire or USB2 connection. That will allow much faster transfer of images
into your computer than just connecting the camera to the computer.
If you have any more questions, email me off-list and I'll be glad to help
you.
Happy shooting!
