Re: Fwd: Illegal Seed Tax

I was shocked speechless when I first saw the post from Underwood Gardens.  Now I'm wondering if this is part of a racket to control the mail order seed industry.  A year or two ago someone claimed to have a patent on marketbasket sales on Internet, and threatened Johnny's seed company with legal action.  IIRC, they paid a fortune for the "right" to use that technology.  I waited for them to try that crap with amazon.com, but never saw anything about it.  Is some "knight in shining armor" going to ride to the rescue (for a hefty fee) to  put out the Minnesota fire? I will not be surprised when some * patents air, and charges each of us for breathing.
