I hope that all the gardeners on this list picked up a copy of The American
Gardener , July/August issue. Great article on beneficial soil microbes
presented in such a manner that even I could get an elemental handle on the
topic.
Now that I have read her article I am realizing the
topic has been right there in front of my face for 2 or 3 years now. Many of the
adds in the pro magazines for nurseries are talking up benificals in potting
medium. Think I received a sales pitch on a liquid fertilizer that included all
organic including mycorrhizae. Noticed one of my new wholesalers catalogs uses
it with all his plugs.
Speaking of... have you noticed all the new regulations
coming into play on nursery containers?
