GWL Listserv Party

I've scheduled our annual get-together for Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. in 
the Bar Blue, which is in the lobby of the Scanticon Hotel.  That hotel is a 
floor above the Valley Forge Convention Center and easily accessible by 
elevator and stairs.  It's a two-minute walk.

No matter where you stay (Scanticon, Radisson, Hilton, etc.), you will have 
transportation or be able to walk quickly to the Valley Forge Convention 
Center and this event.

The reason for the day change (we usually do this on a Friday when the 
meeting opens) is the change in GWA's schedule. They are having a dinner and 
movie that night.  Also, many people are having trouble booking rooms for 
Friday in Valley Forge and may not arrive until late afternoon on Friday. 
Saturday night is a dine-on-your-own event, and the Trade Show reception 
isn't until 6 p.m.

I need an accurate head count by Aug. 1 in order to have enough appetitive 
in place and a large enough space set aside for us.

Also, if anyone is feeling generous, contributions for the appetitive will
