And on a completely different note...

I've been noticing all the interesting places where
members of this list live. It occurred to me that if
any of us ever visited another part of the country
(not in relation to a conference), it might be fun to
meet fellow list members. To take it one step further,
perhaps fellow frugal list members might be interested
in providing free, short-term lodging in a guest room
for other members.

I could compile such a list if desired, and would like
to start the offer by inviting anyone visiting SE
Michigan to a tour of my Ann Arbor garden, tips on
local gardens and natural areas to visit, and a
comfortable bed in a modest ranch home.
