Subject: [GWL] Back page?
Though I have rarely and reluctantly written for magazines, I find myself
now with an offbeat humorous piece that I think would work for a back page
type article for fall. Problem. I don't know what magazines are using that
kind of material now, and I probably won't be at any largish newsstand for a
while. Any suggestions?
Hi Duane,
For humor, you might want to check out GreenPrints: The Weeder¹s Digest.
>From their web site (http://www.greenprints.com/): ³Only GreenPrints shares
the human side: the joy, humor, frustrations, and heart in fine prose and
fine art.
It's the best personal garden writing, old and new.
It's funny. It's tender. It's truthful. It's inspiring. There is absolutely
no other gardening magazine like it. It's the most unique, most joyful, and
most stimulating magazine of them all. If you love to garden, you'll love to
read GreenPrints!²
I¹ve written for them and Pat Stone, the editor, publisher, etc. is great to
work with. patstone@atlantic.ne
Good luck!
Cheers,
Cathy
