Re: New canning books?
Linda,
The book I've used for years, buying a new one every time a new one is
issued, is the Ball Blue Book: The Guide to Home Canning and Freezing. As far
as I'm concerned, there is no other book. This is the book I've given to
about half a dozen canning "newbies" to get them started. It's a good old
reliable source.
Also, you may want to contact the National Center of Home Food
Preservation, based at the University of Georgia to see what they have to offer. I've
contacted them on a couple of occasions when I had a question that wasn't
answered anyplace else and they've been prompt in answering.
