> Reading the article, it sounds Elizabeth banks has engaged in a head-to-head battle with BBC.  They're digging in their heels (why mess with success?), and the rest of the RHS is, on the one hand, back peddling as fast as they can ("we have a great relationship with the BBC and we love all their work") and agreeing on the other hand that the programming needs to improve.  It will be interesting to see how it plays out.  Elizabeth Banks is going to need a thick skin to survive the teapot tempest she has stirred up, and Alan Titchmarsh can't be happy to be put in the middle.  Wonder which camp he'll align himself with....
