NYC speaking opportunity

Hi all,

I promise I'm not going to bombard this list with Great Garden Speakers
stuff--just wanted to pass this on because I'd love to send a good speaker
their way.  Great Garden Speakers has been contacted by a very well-regarded
Manhattan venue looking for a speaker on October 10, 2010 with expertise in
edible container gardening, gardening on balconies and fire escapes, and
basic urban homesteading  They don't have much of a budget, so you'd have to
already be in town, but it's a really good event and Barnes & Noble will be
there selling books.

If you're interested--well, maybe this is a good time to join GGS, so we can
pass these kinds of requests on to you!  Just a hint!  I hope that we become
THE place people go to look for speakers--and it's great to see that
happening already, when our outreach efforts have only begun.
