rss feeds

This may seem like I am rather behind the curve here, but I have never
really paid attention to rss feeds. If I like a blog or site I pop over there
once in a while and catch up, plus twitter etc keep me informed of new
links. This morning though I found that feedburner can deliver feeds to my
kindle.
As a test I put Doug Green's blog in and a few minutes later I was reading
about the crow and the silly little black squirrel. I followed that with
Aglinenews which gives great stories.

So apart for blogs, and picture heavy sites, which this feed does not do,
what are the sort of sites people like to get feeds from? What are the
favorites out there? and do you go for entertainment or useful content?
