There seem to be quite a few tomato growers who use them -- not commercial growers, but "home" gardeners who just have to try 40 or 100 varieties and are running low on space so use the driveway. Some folks buy those cheap synthetic bags that some retailers are selling for a dollar each (or less); others buy a roll of landscape fabric and sew their own.
