Thanks to everyone for their cucumber critques. My brain freeze has finally thawed!
I taste-tested 20 heirloom cucumbers this afternoon and one was the nastiest thing I've ever put in my mouth. Not only was it intensely bitter, but it left a turpentine aftertaste. I think that jolted my brain into action! You can quit snickering now, Doug! Doreen Howard
