Regarding algae bloom:
n environmental hydrologist friend told me that the introduction of a rotten
hicken carcass is the best way to get rid of algae bloom in a small pond.
good sized fryer is cheap. Let about five pounds of chicken go bad in a zip
ock bag and release it under water.
have only done this with small residential ponds, well under an acre in size.
'd guess a bigger pond would require more chicken!
