Re: weed removal by flaming

Ed Snodgrass, Mr. Green Roof Plants himself, recommends them - with a 3-foot
extender to avoid having to bend over. They're perfect for sedums because
sedums don't get burned easily, since they're succulents, but the weeds do.
Ed gave me a photo of one in use -

Subject: [GWL] weed removal by flaming

Hi--
I am looking for folks having experiences with weed removal via a flame
torch as a non-toxic and not too labor intensive method. Did it work,
how long does it last, were there any problems? Would you recommend it?
Thank you for all your help!

best,
Sabine Stezenbach
