Re: ScareCrow for deer


Gloria,

Since I only started using it this spring, I really don't know. 
You would obviously have to keep it and the hose from freezing 
somehow...

I didn't mention it, but the bird-type head it has is rather cute.

Periodically you have to move it...the deer are smart!

I like the ScareCrow...another motion activated sprayer...maybe the first.
We have
NEVER had deer roaming though our property in the 22 years we have lived
here...We
are on a pretty steep hill...until this year. After they had eaten a lot of
my hosta
plants my husband put out the ScareCrow. I had never tried it before. It
works! No
brown spots...no chemicals...the only disadvantage is I occasionally forget
where I
am in relation to the device and get a quick bath. It has been so hot...I
don't even
care!
