Strange ... good?

I found a Japanese beetle in mid-June, a good two weeks before their clockwork Fourth of July weekend annual appearance here in NE PA. I started looking for my Sevin (sorry, but I grow lots of roses). As it turned out, I didnât need it. (Didnât find it anyway, because I could only work my way about two feet into my garden shed.) Since Beetle Zero, I have not seen a single one. Usually by this time of summer my roses are swarming and pretty much devoured. (Itâs not that Sevin doesnât work, more like I often donât get around to using it or using it regularly enough.) So, question: Has someone else bugnapped my beetles?
