japanese beetles
Dropping the beetles into soapy water does indeed work. Practice makes
perfect. You just guide them into a container that is held below the flower.
When you touch them, they fall. This year the roses bloomed before the
beetles arrived, yet they are still here. Not as much to attract them, post
bloom.
