Re: japanese beetles and milky spore


Japanese beetles can fly something like half a mile (could be more - I forget the exact estimate), so you do need to cover the territory.  Years ago I coordinated with the neighbors on the cul-de-sac where we lived to get everyone to apply milky spore.  I negotiated a bulk wholesale price for the material and got all the neighbors on the street and in the houses behind to participate.  It made a difference.
