Re: snipping messages (was Re: gardenwriters Digest, Vol 114, Issue 14)

I'm running it to this more often on other lists I'm on too. One BIG reason 
 this is happening is more folks are using Smart Phones for their email and 
 many of those do not allow you to "snip.* Your only option is to hit  
'reply' and the sender very well may not know that are re-sending a whole  
message (or worse a whole digest) back to a list. I think this problem  will be 
snowballing from here on out.
 
As to Kate's observation on seeing email traffic moved to social  media, I 
am also seeing more direct messages on Twitter, LI, FB, etc. but,  alas, no 
decline in email numbers :-(.
