Re: gardenwriters Digest, Vol 114, Issue 15
RE: Lorraine's hydrangea query.
>>
I've been nursing along the little hydrangea plugs we got at NE Grows and
mine is finally ready to takes its place in the garden. However, somewhere
along the way I lost the name that identified the plant. Can anyone tell me
which hydrangea this one is so I can properly site it re its
characteristics, likes and dislikes? >>
Hope Angela Palmer chimes in with the answer. There were no labels on the
hydrangeas, as I recall. I suspect it might be Angela's newest intro,
Everlasting(TM) Revolution, because she raved about how extraordinary a
plant it would grow into. Reblooming H. macrophylla. Mine's been growing
nicely, although the tip was nipped by some night marauder last week

Meanwhile, my Tiarella 'Stephanie' (also from Plants Nouveau) bloomed from
February (indoors) to June. !!! Here's hoping it makes it through the
winter. I always worry that the bloomingest plants will bloom themselves to
death instead of spending any energy making roots. But I'm keeping my
fingers crossed on this little lovely.
