GWA elections

Dear GWLers,

As many of you know, GWA elections are under way. I'm running for secretary. Many of my qualifications are provided in the bio that is with the ballot. I'd like to add that I've been a member of GWA since the early 1990s (with a short break) and believe that I owe the organization and its members a great deal. I have served as regional and national director for Region III, worked on the GWA Website Task Force and helped launch the GWA Sustainability Task Force, now Committee. I wrote the Question and Answer portion of the GWA Website, where members and the public can learn about the organization's practices, procedures and other issues.
My goals are to continue to enhance the educational and professional development opportunities we provide our members, including critical business practices; to explore plans to bolster membership; and to support organizational transparency.
I would appreciate your vote. Even if you don't vote for me, please vote. Thank you for your consideration.
