Internet info for Quebec City

I called the GWA office yesterday to see what the scoop was  exactly on 
internet service in QC. There is wired and wireless service in the  hotel. It 
is free in our rooms and in PUBLIC areas. It is not free in the rooms where 
the speakers will be  which means if you are sending out anything from there, 
you will be charged. If  using a mobile hotspot you will be charged the 
fees by your cellular carrier which can be hefty. You can buy an  international 
plan for use while you are in QC but most have limited data plans  but you 
must decide and check with your particular carrier.
  If using credit cards to pay for items, check with your  credit card 
company to see if they charge a fee for changing rates for Canadian  to American 
and vice versa. The rates can be 2-3% of the total.
