GWA Story Tour

Hello all,
If you are attending the GWA symposium in Pittsburgh and will be in town on Friday morning, you are invited to join me for the Pittsburgh River Restoration tree tour on bikes. Here are the details:

Over the last decade Pittsburgh’s riverfronts have become a hub of activity for recreation, ecological restoration, and commuting. Join GWA member Phyllis Gricus along with staff members from both Tree Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania Conservancy on the GWA story ride.

Tour Highlights:

Landscape enhancements along the Allegheny and Monongahela riverfronts

A loop around Point State Park to view over two acres of restored woodlands and cool cool off in the spray of the fountain—a dramatic focal point of the city skyline.
