RE: Garden Gift Ideas

Title: Re: [GWL] Garden Gift Ideas

Your list looks good.  However as good as the fish pellets are, we can’t use them in the boonies of Central Michigan.  They will attract raccoons by the herd.  Can’t use fish emulsion or even kelp.

A subscription to "GreenPrints"  is a great item.
Bags of fish pellets from Bio-Oregon (http://www.bio-oregon.com) are great.  You can use them on just about any plant.  If you have some left over, the cats love them.
A big bottle of Flex-A-Gesic lotion for sore muscles after a day of hard gardening:

I've got some great tools I could mention, but they aren't available nationally.  One that IS available is the Felco pruning shears.  I LOVE my Felco #7 with the rotating handle to reduce stress.  I'd have had carpal tunnel syndrome several times over without it.

It's getting to be that time of year to do the Christmas gifts for gardeners
article.  Any suggestions from you hard-core plant nuts and garden product
manufacturers?  I'm willing to plug products shamelessly if they give
gardeners value.  Gifts can be from stocking stuffers to the extravagant.
Hey, we all know that some gardeners have rich spouses who indulge them!
