Re: Garden Gift Ideas

Hi Doreen,
I know this isn't glamorous or exotic but gift certificates are a big hit at
our place. We all know how difficult it can be to receive the "perfect"
plant or the "latest, greatest" tool. The former dies, with attendant guilt
when the giftee visits, and the latter rusts away quietly in the corner.
Our customers use the gift certificate for one of two items: 1. the high end
plant or tool that doesn't fall within their usual budget, or 2.
fertiliser/manure/compost etc.
As a gardener one ofthe two gifts that I would like to receive most is a
properly fitted set of secateurs, Felco, Corona or Lee Valley. (with a
holster)
The other would be a wheelbarrow without all the fancy gimmicks. If it could
be narrow but with a deep, fibreglass tub and a pneumatic tire, that would
be fine.
I think this should generate a lot of columns for a lot of us.
Dan
