Ohio Short Course

I'm considering attending the GWA regional meeting at the Ohio Short Course
in July.  I'm not in that region, but members there are inviting GWA'ers to
join them.  I notice that there are several downtown hotels near the
Columbus Convention Center, where the trade show will be held.  And, they
are pricey.  Can anyone recommend an inexpensive Holiday Inn Express type
place in the outlying areas of Columbus where the traffic is not so
congested?  I'll be driving into Columbus from the west.  Also, do any of
the hotels adjacent to the Convention Center offer shuttle service to the
center?  Any suggestions are appreciated.
