Re: Classic references

For those of you interested in the classic references that pepper many books, they are available through a company called Loeb, which is out of Harvard Uni.  The texts are classic era  only (not renaissance) but include the greek/latin on one side and the translation on the other.  The translations are literal, modern english not interpretations and excerps.  Many also come in several volumes so that you do not have to get the whole set.  Hence for Pliny's Natural History, you can pick the bits that include hort and omit the volumes that deal with animal husbandry.

Best of all, they are not expensive - ave about $20/volume.
