Photography in UK public gardens

Back in February Kate Copsey asked about policies, including fees,
for photography in public gardens in the UK, specifically those of
the National Trust.

I raised this issue with the Garden Photographers' Association (part
of the British Garden Writers' Guild)
(http://www.garden-photographers.com) and they have done research
which has led to the publication of an initial summary of the
situation (in a Word doc) for some gardens, with fees and contact
info. They intend to update it as more information becomes available.
It has to be said that some gardens have been less than helpful.

This short report is not yet available for download from the Garden
Photographers' Association website, so in the meantime go to
http://GrahamRice.com/gardenphotography and download it from there.
