Nice!  I was laughing out loud, and as tired as I am, that is something.

I have arrived at speaking enguagements to find that the space was booked by another group (I showed slides in the hallway) and have tried to show slides in a sunlit room.  I've sat through business meetings where the program was put on hold for 45 minutes until SOMEONE, anyone, please...agrees to be next year's president.  I've arrived at the location on the date on my contract to find an empty parking lot because the program chair filled in the wrong date.  I've had no working sound system for a group of 300, and more projector/bulb troubles than I care to remember, but I've NEVER had to compete with mating turtles!
