neither notorious nor nefarious

Hello List,

So there is no misunderstanding at all: I, in no way, intended to bring in 
to question Nancy's personal ethics. I used the words "nefarious" and 
"notorious" in a tongue in cheek manner in the hopes that this would show 
that I was not serious.
If any of you thought that, disabuse yourselves of the notion. And I 
apologise to you for not being clear enough in my post.
To Nancy, if this has caused you any embarassment or distress, I apologise 
to you, too.
