Re: speaking on a cruise - gardens


Rich,

Bermuda, although not technically in the Caribbean is a lovely English-style 
island. I can't think of any specific garden, but homes, estates and hotels 
have wonderful gardens. They also have a pretty cool perfume factory.

Besides a weird drive-in volcano (stinky), St Lucia has a few nice gardens 
and a rain forest, however the island is large and slow going to navigate.

San Juan, Puerto Rico has nice gardens and free Pina Colada Bars in the back 
of jewelry stores!

Gardens in the Caribbean are not the same as the US. Generally they are much 
more wild except for islands with a British or Dutch background (although 
the well-known island of Aruba doesn't really have any gardens that I can 
think of).
