Thanks TC for mentioning it to the list--something I've been meaning  
to do.

We have a great day planned. Here is a clip from the GWA announcement  
for those of you that might have missed it. Added to the agenda is a  
truly amazing private garden. All within walking distance if you're  
up for it.

Please join us for story tours of the new “Green” conservatory and  
construction at Phipps Conservatory.  Find out the latest in “Green  
Construction: The Impact on the Future of Botanic Gardens Across the  
World” with a presentation about Phipp’s goals and objectives  
throughout their development. Participants will enjoy lunch at Phipps  
followed by a tour of Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation and  
Rodef Biblical Garden.

Of course, near and dear to my heart is the opportunity to show off  
the site reclamation going on at the future botanical garden of  
Pittsburgh.

Optional Pre-Meeting
Social Gathering

Members are invited to meet at 5:30pm on June 26th at Olive Garden  
(Green Tree) for a Dutch-treat dinner. After dinner, attendees will  
visit the future site of the Botanic Garden of Western Pennsylvania.  
There will be a tour, brief talk about the project, and a special  
treat of “dirt” sundaes. For specific details, contact Steve Maurer  
(smaurer@nemours.org) or Kirk Brown (vista6211@verzion.net).  
Directions will be supplied to those interested in attending the fun  
event!
