Free online promo for garden writers
Hello everybody, after many months in the making, I'm delighted to announce
the addition of "Gardening Advisor" profiles and "Plant Care Q&A" to
PlantConcierge.com.
"Gardening Advisor" profiles let you describe yourself and promote books,
magazines, websites, podcasts, TV & radio broadcasts, blogs and anything
else you do. They are completely free of charge. Simply go to
PlantConcierge.com <http://www.plantconcierge.com/> , create a user account
(if you don't already have one) and then add your profile.
All profiles can be viewed via the "Show all
<http://www.plantconcierge.com/gardening_advisors_listing/> Gardening
Advisors" link at the bottom of the page. But the way to get consumers to
notice yours is by answering questions in the new "Plant Care Q&A" feature,
and linking your profile to your answers.
This system is designed to gather up lost souls searching the web for
gardening advice and funnel them through to those who can help further. For
example, if a consumer types "Do tulips poison the soil?" into Google, the
first search result is a page from PlantConcierge.com's Plant Care Q&A. By
posting an answer to this question and linking your profile, you get to
promo yourself to any consumers who land on that page.
Basically, you offer little samples of your expertise to promo all of your
work.
There are a small number of questions already online, but you can also add
to these by submitting new questions that you intend to answer yourself,
thereby using PlantConcierge.com to populate the web with easily accessible
information that leads straight to your promotion profile. For example, if
you've had a book about dry-climate gardening published that you want to
promote, then submit and answer loads of questions relating to that subject.
Plant Care Q&A on PlantConcierge.com is intended to complement existing
magazines, forums, blogs, gardening networking sites, etc. by providing a
simple, straightforward entry point for mainstream consumers. It's simple
format is compatible with search engines and the needs of busy consumers who
want an easy route to finding the information they're looking for. If they
like the way you answer questions on PlantConcierge.com, they will be
encouraged to click through to your own websites.
I hope you find this useful! If you have any questions at all, please feel
free to ask me. But if you take a look at PlantConcierge.com
<http://www.plantconcierge.com/> is should all be self-explanatory.
Miriam
