GWA Region V Meeting Registration Extended

Registration for the GWA Region V meeting on Friday, June 25 in the Quad Cities (Moline/East Moline & Rock Island, IL; Davenport & Bettendorf IA) has just been extended through Friday, June 18. Non-GWA members are welcome. The event includes tours of four gardens; Speaker Darrin Nordahl, author of "Public Produce: The New Urban Agriculture" discussing a new movement to plant edibles on public land; A Buy Fresh Buy Local Breakfast, sponsored by the Quad Cities CVB; lunch, sponsored by Wallace's Garden Center; story ideas; photo ops and a plant shopping op. And, the day offers plenty of chances to network with colleagues and make new friends. If that's not enough, great door prizes and goodie bags with gifts for everyone sweeten the deal.

Hotel reservations made by today at The Isle of Capri Casino Hotel will receive a greatly discounted rate of $50/night including one free dinner buffet voucher with each room. Meeting registration is just $45 for GWA members/spouses and $55 for non-members.
