Re: Thistles


They are notorious for being a major pest in many areas (Canadian being one 
 monster). The only bright spot is that most are biennial. So you have all  
year to get rid of this crop, and the next crop will be gone. Let any  go - 
it will happily flower and compound the problem. Alas, I have been known to 
 resort to chemical control of it.
