At first glance, this is funny.  At second reading, it  isn't!  

I don't like the idea that an e-book can be erased from an e-reader by  
some anonymous hand out there in the sky.  They can't come into my house  and 
confiscate a book off my shelves -- I don't want them coming into my Kindle  
and confiscating a book from my device either. It's mine!  I paid for  it, I 
want it, and no refund will undo the damage of having it removed.

And I don't like the idea of tampering with text.  This, too is  repugnant 
to me.  Perhaps in the future, now that these devices are  available, 
authors will insist on having "no electronic editing/changes" clauses  written 
into their contracts. I think all authors should consider this.
