Re: Garden pests and control


Yuck! We mostly catch field mice that get into the house, so we don't
have to take them very far away. Our other main problem is flying
squirrels that move into our outbuildings during winter. Since they're
very shy, they move out as soon as we get active again. I've used
peppermint oil on cotton balls as a deterrent, but of course you have to
renew it. Now I'm experimenting with mint leaves from my garden right
now.
