My daughter, Megan McCarthy, runs the vegetable program at the Idaho 
Botanical Garden and frequently does programs for school groups in her

Friends,

I've volunteered again. This time I am working with a charter school to
develop a rooftop edible garden in Downtown Boise. We've been accepted as
part of Alice Water's Edible Schoolyard Project and also rec'd a very small
NASA grant for science.

One of the pieces here is the curriculum. Now,I don't have to do that, but,
for those of you who have experience with that kind of thing, can you
recommend some books for the children/parents/teachers?
